From time to time we receive enquiries from people tracing their family history etc. We are happy to help when possible and aim to respond quickly to people's requests. Unfortunately searching registers can take a long time to do and we are dependant on volunteers giving of their free time. Following vandalism to the registers in the past we no longer allow the public direct access.

The registers held in church are as follows:
Burials from 1892
Baptisms from 1952
Confirmations from 1926
Marriages from 1976

If you would like a register search please write to Fr Ian Newton stating clearly the information you require and giving any information that will assist the search. Their is a statutory fee of £19 for the first hour of any search and further fees can be charged should the search take longer. Cheques should be enclosed with the search request and be made payable to St Peter's PCC.
